∙ 7y agoThe Crusades resulted in numerous persecutions of Jews both in the Middle East and in Europe. Many Europeans wondered why they would have to march thousands of miles to Jerusalem when there were infidels-a-plenty (Jews) right next door in their European cities. Especially hard-hit were the Jewish communities in southern and central Germany, many of which were brutally attacked.
