Beringia or the land bridge connected to the tip of Asia to the Tip of North America (I think that is where they were connected), some historians believe that people migrated down to the Americas across Beringia.
Others believe that some people traveled by boat to get to the Americas, according to other historians who found some evidence that might contradict the land bridge theory or Beringia.
They crossed by means of the land and ice bridge which connected Siberia and Alaska at the time in the area of what is now the Bering Strait.
