Millions of years ago the cavemen started camps. Every meal,the cavemen would have leftover food that they'd just leave near camp. Eventually the wolves started eating the scraps and became used to people. The cave men noticed and took some wolves as pets. They trained them, played with them and slept with them, and eventually they bred them. They bred them as hunting dogs, sporting dogs, fighting dogs and just plain friendly dogs. That is also how we have all sorts of different dogs.
