Asthma does not enter your body, its something you develop along with an allergy to something, or it can come with cold weather and constricts your lungs. As well, excercise can trigger an asthmatic espisode. You can be born with it, or develop it.

No an allergen can enter the body by breathing it in. This will cause an asthma attack.

Cats and horses, dust, tobacco are a few of my triggers, cats get me right away, my eyes get affected too. Red, swollen and itchy, feels terrible.

Hope this is somewhat helpful

They occur when your body detects a non-harmful substance as harmful. Your body then sends histamines to the site, which inflames the area and coats the allergens with secretions. These help escort the allergens out and if they are unable to do so, the body isolates them.

Do antigens cause disease?

An "antigen" is a substance that when introduced into the body stimulates the production of an "antibody".Antigens include toxins, pollen, bacteria, viruses, metals, foreign blood cells and the cells of transplanted organs.A "disease" is a pathological condition of some part of an organ or living system resulting from various causes.Diseases include infections, genetic defects, or environmental stresses and are characterized by an identifiable group of signs or symptoms. Thus you can see some diseases are caused by antigens and some diseases that are not caused by antigens.
