Best Answer

Alligators move unseen through the water until they are close enough to lunge up on shore and grab they're prey. They drag in into the water until it drowns. They swallow small prey whole, but for larger prey they have to spin wildly with it in their mouth until bite-size pieces are torn off. That's called the "death roll."

The crocodiles wait for their food to come by. The crocs have sensory organs located around their mouths. So they move their heads from side to side waiting for prey to come within distance of their sensory organs. When they are activated the crocs attack.

A:

They hide in the swamp (river) and then pretend to be a log. When an animal (deer,antelope...) comes to drink water, the crocodile grabs its neck and drags it into the water. It then twists it around until it drowns.

They Wait silenty under water until some type of prey comes along the shore to drink. The croc leaps out and attempts to drag its prey down under water. sometimes to kill it pray it uses the death roll.
crocodiles are extremely quick over short distances so they lie just below the surface in the water and launch a rapid attack to catch their prey by surprise, using their powerful jaws and sharp teeth to hold their prey and drag them underwater. also they catch they prey cheekly.

They strike the prey, then they drown it. The crocodile is unable to chew, so it tears the prey and rips chunks off the dead body with force.
