They hibernate to avoid the effects of extreme cold, they stand in river water to fish, they claw downed trees apart to search for termites and grubs, and they dig up roots to eat. They also ignore honey bees while the raid for honey is on!

a polar bear adapts because its fur is white so its hard to see in snowy lands and it has claws to ward off predators (if any) it also uses its claws to hunt.
