The same is true of lighting. It is planned carefully and executed precisely to provide the effect, visual mood and otherwise enhance the shot to the greatest possible extent.
Look at a still portrait by a professional photographer, and compare it with a snapshot from a family party to see the differences. Analyze the direction of the light, the effect it has, the surroundings and what they say about the subject, and the angle from which the photo was taken. You can learn a lot that way. ∙ 11y agoCamera angles can determine a few things. In a Horror movie, (especially in old horror movies) sometimes when the victim is getting attacked there can be a high angle to make them seem vulnerable. and the villain can have a low angle to make them look bigger and more scary.
