Best Answer

the gas from the car evaporate into the cluds and that forms acid rain

Cars create exhaust as a by-product of combustion. This exhaust contains ozone-damaging compounds and many other carbon-based chemicals. These chemicals float through our air and into the atmosphere, and remain in clouds and water vapor. When it rains, this now "acidic" rain falls to the earth and can damage/kill plants and animals when the water evaporates and the chemicals remain in the ground.

When you build or operate a car, you produce sulfur dioxide from burning the fossil fuels. Most cars (not electric cars ) burn fossil fuels to work. The sulfur dioxide combines with the water vapor in the air and falls as acid rain, rain that contains higher levels of sulfuric and other acids.
