When the water droplets form from condensation are very small, they remain in the atmosphere. When the temperature and atmospheric pressure are right, small droplets of water in clouds appear as rain.

The hydrosphere is affected by the erosion of land, water debris, sediment re-deposition (materials settling on the bottom of rivers, lakes, ocean, etc.), and flooding can create oxbow lakes/billabongs which are rivers or streams that have been caused by flooding - these can occur in many places.
