A plant uses light by collecting it through the leaves, then the chloroplasts take the oxygen that it also got through leaves and water from the roots and forms a kind of food almost like sugar. this process is called photosynthesis.

through the process of photosynthesis. light and water are absorbed during the light reaction of photosynthesis. the light is absorbed in the chloroplasts thylakoid membranes. this excites electrons. electrons dont "like" to be at this unstable state so they find something to bond with. then the H20 (water) comes in: first the water molecule splits. the result of this split is a release of oxygen (O2) as waste. the hydrogen (H) is then used to accept and carry the excited electrons over to the dark reaction with the help of the coenzyme NAD.

Nothing makes its own light (other then light sources like sun, bulb, tube, etc).

Everything just reflects the light falling upon them to appear the way they do.

Chlorophyll is what makes the plants appear green as it reflects green light

Many plants (notably green leaf plants), photosynthesize by using the light, water (H2O), and CO2and convert it to C6H12O6 and Energy.

They also tend to grow towards light (phototropism).

Plants make their own food using energy that comes from the what?

Plants make their own food using energy that comes from the sun. Plants trap energy from the sun with the help of chlorophyll. Their food is prepared during two reactions,i.e; light dependent reaction & light independent reaction which take place simultaneously.

What is form is energy stored in at the end of photosynthesis?

Chemical energy

What does photo in photosynthesis refer to?

The prefix photo- means light. By using light (sunlight), plants can make food from that energy source.

In what form must energy be for plants to make glucose?

Plants use light energy to make glucose.

Where does it occurs?

Photosynethesis is the process in which plants make their own food using sunlight. This light energy is converted into glucose by the chloropyl in the green leaves. The plants then use the gulcose for energy.

Photosynthesis is the process through which plants make food using energy from the sun?

During photosynthesis radiant energy is transferred to chemical energy

What living thing can make food using the sun's energy?

Plants can make food using the sun's energy.

What do plants make as their food?

Plants use light as their source of energy to make carbohydrates such as sugars.

Where do plants get the energy to make organic molecules?

By converting energy into molecules. We then eat the plant which carries the molecules of energy. It is organic because its a plant. I'm prerty sure this is correct but if it is not, please correct me!
