They sometimes huddle in groups much like penguins but they are used to cold/harsh environments. They have a thick layer of fat called "blubber" to keep them at their usual temperature.

Hope this helped!

Seals are remarkably adapted to ocean living. These aquatic mammals have powerful sleek bodies that are encased in blubber and taper down into a tail. Their thick no-neck physiques and loosely interlocked vertebrae make them strong and flexible enough to surf the waves and navigate ice and rocky shores.
They've got blubber, or fat, to keep them warm

Seals keep warm because they have an extra layer of fat on their bodies, much like whales. They also have fur coats to keep them warm.

They have streamlined bodies to help them move through the water quickly, they have lots of flab and blubber to help survive and their babies have lots of fur to help them keep warm.
