You don't hint--you need to be honest with her. Tell her you would like to have an actual relationship with her, and see if she agrees. If she hedges or dodges answering the question, she obviously doesn't feel the same way you do. ask them who they fancy then they will probably ask u and then slowly brake it to them Honestly, I really think it's better to be completely honest with her, but if you really just want to "hint" to her, ask them who they like. Be sure you make eye contact with her when you ask her this. If she says she doesn't want to tell you, say "I'll tell you who I like." If you're still making eye contact with her (which you should be!), raise your eyebrows a bit. Then, have her tell you first.

Do not continue having these "benefits" knowing that it's messing with your emotions because it'll mess with you a lot if you continue to let it. You should sit down with him, and tell him the truth and if he doesn't accept it then you shouldn't continue hurting yourself with him as liking him, and then him knowing you do but he doesn't like you back - it will continue to cause pain as long as you continue to have these benefits.
