Best Answer

We sin by doing bad things like swearing , stealing, killing etc.

ANOTHER ANSWER:

First of all, the term "sin" needs to be defined in order for us to know WHAT SIN IS. But it's God who has to define it for us, since you'll get a different answer from every person you ask as to what sin is.

We need to go to the place in The Bible where it says "SIN IS..." and then see what follows, to see what God reveals it to be. This is found in John's first letter -- I John 3:4:

"...SIN IS the TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW" !!!

But because there are "so many laws" recorded in the Bible... many of the hundreds of deceived denominations of modern professing Christianity simplify things by "doing away with all of God's laws in their doctrinal beliefs," calling God's Laws A BURDEN [virtually the CAUSE of all of man's woes]. Thus, by teaching this, they DO AWAY WITH SIN ALTOGETHER in their minds and hearts. They then, subsequently, lay what would have been their burden to bear and lay them all on Jesus' shoulders, thus removing from themselves any responsibility regarding sin.

Fortunately, Paul breaks it down for God's church [those who read and believe what the Bible says] through his writings to the Gentile believers in Rome as to just WHICH SPECIFIC LAW transgressed constitutes SIN. Paul loved to play the "devil's advocate," prompting some of his listeners to reason things out logically:

"What shall we say then? IS THE LAW SIN? ..." (Rom.7:7).

So, of course, many modern denominations of Satan-deceived modern professing Christianity shout out a resounding "YES, YES... THE LAW IS SIN! " But Paul answers his own question truthfully:

"...GOD FORBID! Nay, I had not KNOWN SIN, but BY THE LAW: for I had not known LUST, except THE LAW had said, 'THOU SHALT NOT COVET! " (same verse)

Of all the many charges, laws, statutes and ordinances recorded in God's Word, the Bible, which law says "Thou shalt not covet?" Of course, the LAW in question is the TEN COMMANDMENTS. It's these LAWS THAT DEFINE WHAT SIN IS!

Therefore, it's the transgression [or BREAKING] of the Ten Commandments that constitutes "sin." Thus, the first answer is correct as far as it went. While "swearing" isn't addressed literally in the Commandments, "using God's Blessed, Holy, Sacred, Hallowed Name in a casual, callous or vain manner" falls into the general category of "swearing." But it's a person's specific and deliberate disrespect for and toward our Creator and His very Name that EARNS US THE PENALTY OF DEATH right along with the other nine transgressions.

But, that's HOW WE SIN. We sin by breaking God's Ten Commandments. We worship gods that are not gods at all. We give little or no thought or regard to God or His Sacred Name. We ignore and reject CREATION [we fail to REMEMBER the LORD's hallowed Sabbath day], and teach EVOLUTION [creation without a Creator] in its place. We disrespect our parents and loved ones. We murder, steal, lie and lust both against and toward one another.

The Ten Commandments of God... the LAWS OF GOD... are His Laws that, when obeyed, BRING LOVE TO FRUITION. True Love is directed AWAY FROM THE SELF, TOWARD OTHERS.

Human nature is SELFISH and REBELLIOUS TO AUTHORITY... any authority, whether it's God's Laws or man's. And the Ten Commandments go against human nature. They "rub us the wrong way." Human nature says, "Don't tell me how to live my life." "This is my life. Don't try to tell me what to do."

And it's our natural "love of the self" [selfishness] that HATES GOD'S LAW. Our selfish love isn't love at all, because TRUE LOVE FLOWS OUTWARD TOWARD AND THROUGH OTHERS... like a powerful river current:

"He that believeth on Me, as the Scripture hath said, OUT OF HIS BELLY SHALL FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATER. (But this spake He of the Spirit, which THEY THAT BELIEVE ON HIM SHOULD RECEIVE: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet Glorified.)" (John 7:38-39)

The bottom line is, MANKIND SINS BY NOT LOVING ONE ANOTHER, SELFLESSLY... [as the Ten Commandments instruct God's Children to do... and which parents throughout the generations are charged by God to teach to their children - Deut.6:7]... with the same Selfless Love revealed to the world by Christ!

"This is My Commandment [the singular MEANING OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS], that YE LOVE ONE ANOTHER, AS I HAVE LOVED YOU. Greater Love hath NO MAN than this, that a man LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS. Ye are My friends, IF YE DO WHATSOEVER I COMMAND YOU." (John 15:12-14

It's a global problem... and the REASON WHY THE WORLD IS THE WAY IT IS. There is PRECIOUS LITTLE LOVE IN IT!

MANKIND SINS THROUGH HIS FAILURE TO LOVE HIS FELLOW MAN WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF THE SELFLESS LAW OF GOD'S LOVE IN HIS CONSCIOUSNESS AND HIS HEART!

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: FEAR GOD, and KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: for this IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN. For God shall bring every work into Judgment, with with every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil." (Eccle.12:13-14)

What is the best sin then the other sin?

There are two types of sin. Venial sin is a non-serious sin, when the sinner does not know it is wrong. Mortal sin is a serious sin, when the sinner is aware of what they are doing.

Verify that sin minus cos plus 1 divided by sin plus cos subtract 1 equals sin plus 1 divided by cos?

[sin - cos + 1]/[sin + cos - 1] = [sin + 1]/cosiff [sin - cos + 1]*cos = [sin + 1]*[sin + cos - 1]iff sin*cos - cos^2 + cos = sin^2 + sin*cos - sin + sin + cos - 1iff -cos^2 = sin^2 - 11 = sin^2 + cos^2, which is true,
