While the IUCN has listed the gray whale as "Least Concern" since 2008, the northwest Pacific gray whale subpopulation is listed as "Critically Endangered" and is also listed as "Endangered" by the US government's National Marine Fisheries Service. The International Whaling Commission has a subcommittee that re-iterated in 2011 that the risk to the western gray whale is large because of the small size of the population as well as anthropogenic impacts. Mexican law protects these whales while they are in their lagoons, while still allowing whale-watching. Canada's "Species At Risk Act" has identified specific threats to the western gray whales.

Well, its very simple. First, a trench must be dug next to the aforementioned whale. However, this trench must be dug by hand in order to not disturb the whale and its sensitive ears (always to the left, NEVER the right) . After that, ropes must be attached around the whale and then you contact any patron with a large, diesel truck which then must pull the whale into the trench and then drive the truck at the very least four miles out to sea. The truck is obviously given as a sacrifice to save the whale. And that my friend, is how organizations save whales.
they are not trawling a lot anymore for the sole purpose of not harming marine life such as dolphins, porpoises and whales
People who kill whales for their blubber, teeth,(etc.) are called Whalers.

Well, you could always donate some money to help save the whales if you find a good organization.
You can help by not throwing trash into the ocean or you can tell people to stop hurting Whales and catching them in nets.

The whales are breathing. They are mammals like people. They do not have gills like fish. I do not know why the mist comes up, but I am sure that when they do it they are breathing. I hope this helped
By not killing them is a simple answer. Otherwise they can sign petitions and what not to help 8>
