Before applying make it little warm, so that it becomes little soft to apply. This should be applied so that oil reaches the hair root. It is better to apply it three hours before taking bath.
You should start off with clean skin, so wash/cleanse your face first!!

Curious; why do you want to apply it to your brows? to help them grow? My mom used to use castor oil on her very sparse blonde eyelashes and over a great deal of time, they seemed to be a little thicker, and definitely a little darker, but not much.......Would you tell me why you are doing this? if I'm not being too nosy, that is!!
Try using castor oil and a toothbrush.. apply the oil with the toothbrush before you go to bed...the brush will rough up the skin allowing the castor oil to penetrate.. Ive read this for eyebrows.
