the Hyundai rear caliper needs to be twisted(clockwise) to compress the piston. Dont try to pry it or vice it . Remove bleeder valve if it still doesnt retract, then bleed entire system. Fresh fluid is always good for the seals and the muck youll see coming out of the bleeder valve is proof of why its giving you trouble.
To change the front disc brakes on a Kia Rio, simply remove the assembly held by two bolts. Push the piston back and replace the disc brakes with new.
it either has front disc brakes and rear drum or it has front and rear disc bakes. look for a flat disc in the front and back - those are front and rear disc brakes-they take pads. The drum brakes take shoes.
ro my knowledge you cannot change them to disc, and for the records you wouldn't want to change them there drum brakes for a reason
yes you can get a kit to convert brakes
same as the front brakes they r both disc brakes
This will greatly depend on what kind of brakes you have and which parts you are trying to replace. Do you have disc or drum brakes? If you have disc brakes, do you want to replace the calipers, pads, or rotors? If you have drum brakes, do you want to replace the drum, or the shoes?
Disc
Disc in front, drums in back.
Front pads (disc brakes) Rear shoes (drum brakes)
You have hydraulic brakes and air brakes. Hydraulic brakes can be drum or disc. Air brakes can be drum, disc, or wedge. On a lot of medium duty trucks and RVs, the parking brake can be a shaft brake, mounted to the back of the transmission.

Its very easy to spot the difference if you look at the back wheels and see a disc (just like the front wheels ) then you have disc brakes and if not you have drums
