Make sure you have the emergency brakes off. Block the wheels, and jack the car at the side where you want to take off the drum. Take a hammer and bang on the sides to seat the shoes a little. I have had stubborn drums on my 2004 pt cruiser that I had to hit from both sides. Then you wiggle the drum off from the top. For leverage you might use the claw of the hammer to help pull the drum off. Work from the top to bottom. It might take some patience.
