The complete trim cover of the third brake light needs to be removed. 1. Open trunk to access several screws that fix the trim cover in backward direction 2. Open convertible top at least slightly to find the hex srews that hold the trim cover in forward direction (they are upside down and cannot be seen from the top) After all screws are removed the trim cover can be lifted. The brake light is of the sealed LED type and can only be replaced as a whole unit, unless you repair it on your own.
