How do you get your color on multiplayer halo reach?

you cant, you are stuck with what ever color you start with in match making.

if you press start on the menu and press right you will see the appearance menu. Go to that and it should show you all the options for you're armor

In the main menu, push start and then right on the joy stick. Select appearance and then change your colors.

if you mean change your characters color go to matchmaking lobby, press 'start' then click 'armory' and go down to 'colors'

No sorry you can only change team color's in custom. LOL i know how your feel. I feel that i do MUCH better on the blue team, but it's probably just in my head xD.
