The best way to get the spots out is to use a buffing wheel and white rouge polish stick, and follow it up with some mfx jewelers rouge polish. It is not very hard to do, just time consuming. Nothing anyone else suggests will work, I have tried them all.

Also Barkeeper's friend works great on stainless steel.

∙ 9y agoTo get tarnished stainless steel clean, you can scrub it with liquid soap. It can also be cleaned with baking soda and salt, or window cleaner.

A Brillo pad will do it, but the rust will eventually come back.
