I would connect the L lead to the dash light for alternator fault and from there to the ignition switch and the S lead directly to the alternator output connection. If there is no light, use a 35-300 Ohm resistor between the L lead and the ignition switch.
2 wire has a live wire to energise the field where as the single wire alternator self energises and does not need the powered feed.
Not much to it, get the one wire alternator, and brackets from a 302 and mount it up, belts will be the same as the 302, wire goes to the battery. # wire is a bit different, red lug goes to battery, botton 2 wire plug should be exciter and is ignition power and a ground.
2 wire nsizes smaller than the wire you are protecting.
1 cup is 250 gm - So 150 gm is 2/3 of a cup.
2 gm of soil contain 0.030ppm of chromium how can convert microgram
You can tape them off and tuck them away. One wirewas for the idiot light and the other wire was a trigger wire to excite the old alternator.
there should be an alternator "plug" which consists of 2 wires that go to a plastic plug that snaps into the alternator. the wire lead should be a part of the engine wire harness located on drivers side firewall about 1 1/2 feet below wiper deck. the alternator itself has a screw off back side that can be removed for internal wiring issues related solely to the alternator itself. i would buy a manual from your local auto parts store (or order it in) for the 80 TA it should have a diagram for the alternator wiring with an exploded view.
Each cup is approximately 125 gm
there should be 2 bolts on the alternator one looks slotted that is so you can adjust your tension on your belt your belt will need to be off the alternator pulley loosen and remove both bolts they have nuts on the back of the alternator so you will need a wrench to hold them then un plug the wire and loosen and remove the ground wire off the back of the alternator then installing it is just the reverse
There is a pully that will ratchet up and down to loosen or tighten the belt. Take the belt off, unplug the wire from the alternator, and there should only be 2 or 3 bolts holding the alternator on.
You remove the belt, unbolt the alternator (2 bolts), disconnect the plug and main wire. Take your new alternator, connect the main wire, plug, bolt it back in the way the old one was, put your belt back on and you're done. 20 min or less
2005 5.3 trailblazer I have removed the ground wire , power wire and lower 2 bolts on the front, but it seems that something is still holding the alternator in place. Can you tell me what else I need to loosen to get the altnator to come loose?
