How do you detect which virus has infected your computer - and if you are unable to find it can you just use a free virus scan that can detect and remove the virus from your computer?

You need to run these 6 essential steps to remove all the spyware on your computer.

Install threat fire which will enhance your antivirus protection
- Go to Trend Housecall (see link below) and use their free scanner, which works well. In addition, AVG works well.
- Norton Antivirus
- Try the following programs; they will stop all unwanted stuff from getting onto your computer. I went to www.webattack.com and found a way to remove it by doing the following: Clicked on the green link at the top of the page stating "FREEWARE," then clicked on virus tools/or you can search on that site for this program: "Avast home edition." It is the best freeware program that I have ever used and it removed the virus in no time.
The Funweb A is a Trojan horse virus, and when Avast picked it up was going by another name; I think that's why everybody has difficulty in removing it, and can't find anything under Funweb A.
Avast has also detected and removed 2 other virus-infected files on my computer! It is important to do a live update of Avast virus definitions and to set the program to run a full-system scan. Do download the full free home adition and not just the computer cleaner. It's absolutely amazing.
Two other freeware programs that run really well along with Avast can be found on the same site: Ad-Aware spy detector; and Zone Alarm firewall. I have all three of these and they work together like magic!

Free virus scans are for the most part, scams. Even if you're computer's clean they'll find something, and if you're computer DOES have a virus, a free scan usually won't find it. They just want you to buy their product, nothing is ever free. If you want something that can help you break down and pay for a virus scanner.

No. We would be unable to detect it but you can detect black holes(by xrays and light emmitted from material they are sucking up). You would be unable to detect it because if the two were moving away at a combined speed greater than that of light then light from the star could never reach the earth.
