How do you download the Windows Movie Maker?

If you have Windows Xp or Windows Vista operating system, you have Windows Movie Maker already installed. There are two ways to open your Movie Maker.

1. Click Start , All Programs, Movie Maker should be in the list

2. Type MOVIEMK into your search bar. (Click the Start Orb - search bar is above the orb)

If you have inadvertently uninstalled the Movie Maker, or it is in need of repair, you can try manually updating it through Windows Update. Since Windows Movie Maker v2.1 is included in Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), it is not readily available for direct download. But, you can download Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) from the site posted below:

Note: Windows Live Movie Maker only supports Vista operating systems. In other words, if you have Windows XP, you can't download Windows Live Movie Maker.
