Prob best to buy a new one as if they are discontinued it will be really expensive to get them shipped. you can pick up a good microwave for a few quid now

It's not so much the material but the criss cross pattern of the material that keep the microwaves in. I would STRONGLY suggest however, that if you can't get a replacement part for a microwave and are not qualified to work on a microwave that you dispose of it and purchase a new one.
