I believe there was a recall on the wiper moter. Take it in and they might fix it free. Otherwise you can replace the motor. For the recall they only replace the transistor board in the motor. A used one will probably have the same problem.

My truck started to do the same thing. I simply ran a new ground wire from the motor to a grounding point about 2 feet away. I have not had a problem since.

My Chevrolet dealer took the numbers off my truck and gave me a replacement internal wiper motor board free (based on the recall). It's a very easy part to replace.

go to junk yard and get wiper moter because if you get a new on it will go bad also so why spend the money

Try this first! Re-solder the contacts on the wiper control board. Remove the 4 or 5 torx screws that hold the cover on the wiper motor (it's on the upper rear firewall) the circuit card is under the cover, lightly touch a iron to the cold solder joints, they will look dull until you heat them up. You can this without taking the motor out. These control boards are easily fixed for less than 10 bucks (the cost of a cheap soldering iron). You don't need any solder just heat the cold solder joints for 3-5 seconds until the solder melts and this will re-connect the contacts. It takes less than 15 minutes and could save you a couple hundred. My 95 1500 has been good now for 9 years and 225k+ miles.
