I am not a specialist but I know you can get it after you have been exposed to irritants for a long time that cause your immune system to over-react. Sadly so many children already have Asthma, caused by anything from smog to food to baby powder. As for myself, I usually do not suffer from asthma, however I seem to have an episode of a few months every decade following a severe cold with bronchitis. The type that is viral and bacterial. This predisposition was probably acquired while I worked in a carpenter shop for a few years (dust, glass fibre).
theres usually 2c in the air but when theres 5c (like in Cuban cigars) in the air, people would inhale it and that's how people get asthma
Asthma is something you are born with and you can't catch it. It never goes away and is a non curable disease.
Well. There is not a logical or reasonable answer for this question, But people can be born with asthma. If you are seriouslly allergic to something it can cause your bronchial tubes to becomed inflamed and that can cause you to get asthma
mabye a mother that smokes while she is pregnant.
There are some other ways to get asthma, too.
No one knows.
Through genetic genes or develop it through child or adult hood :D
I can't think of any special risks that apply to that situation.
yes
Asthma is usually inherited or something you develop as you get older. It is not something that can be transmitted.
If you have well controlled asthma your lung function should be relatively normal between attacks. The way to develop well controlled asthma is to see your doctor on a regular basis, take your asthma medications exactly as prescribed. There are about 10-20% of asthmatics who may develop severe asthma, and this may be due to repeated uncontrolled asthma exacerbations or by other things, such as smoking cigarettes, that cause lung scarring, or chronic airway changes, withing the lungs. These severe asthmatics may develop some degree of permanent loss of lung capacity. Otherwise, the only time your lung capacity will be diminished is while you are having an asthma attack.
Yes, that is how most people get it. Just 80% of people who have pollen allergy develops allergic asthma. It's not as bad as the one you are born with but it can develop into it. I got my asthma after I had my second child. But I also have a severe allergy against pollen and fur.

It's important for dog owners to work closely with their veterinarian to identify specific triggers for their pet's asthma and to develop a management plan. This may include environmental modifications, medication, and lifestyle adjustments to help control and minimize asthma symptoms in dogs.

It is possible that a person's asthma will not come back. Most times, when a person has asthma, it is a lifelong problem for them.
