You didn't say if it was on a carpet or on a table. Carpet: You are going to have to get a pro in. They will cut a little carpet from another area of your carpet (perhaps behind a sofa) and you really can't tell where the cigarette burn was. I had a party at my home some years back and someone burned my carpet (I was not happy about it) and the person I got in to fix it did a wonderful job. Tables: If you think you can handle it and the burn isn't too deep then you can "soft sand" with FINE GRIT SAND PAPER and then you are going to have restain your table.
