Here is a rather simple way to stop your dog biting. It can take a short while to get into the dogs mind but simply tells them loud and clear. My dog didn't used to bite, more a mouthing movement, but not at all should a dog really be doing this. First off, once the dog becomes agrovated and begins to bite, let out a loud squeal or a raised OUCH! Sending the dog into shock will make them realise they are doing something wrong. If this doesn't work, another way is to produce a bottle of cold water, and whenever the dog lets out a violent snap, quickly squirt the water onto the dog, this will also shock them. My dog still mouths at times, but when badly behaved, quickly turns down his head at the site of the bottle.
Hope my information helps you and your pooch :)
you tell it no! everytime, very stern voice dont forget. Then if they dont stop, buy a cae/kennel and every time they bite put them init, not for very long then they will realise. and stop !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

If it is not serious, smack it on the nose every time it does. If it is serious, take it to a professional, like a vet or someone.
There are two ways a dog can bite: playfully and aggressively. Each must be dealt with differently.
If you have a young dog, and particularly a wee pup or one that is teething, you need to teach them bite inhibition. The very best way for them to learn is by playing with littermates, their mothers, or with a play group of similar sized/aged pups. Pups teach each other how hard to bite by shunning any pup that bites too hard. You can tell your pup he is biting too hard the same way other puppies do, by yelping like a puppy whose tail was just stepped on and then turning away and refusing to play for a few minutes. Be dramatic.
IF YOU ARE ATTACKED BY A DOG, attempt to run away. but if that doesn't work, curl up into a ball with your knees drawn up to your chest and arms around your head and lie face down. The dog will eventually give up.
well, if the puppy is biting, try to take him to an obidience school, but if u want to do it yourself, i recommend, if they bite, put them in a crate for 5 minutes, then let them out and play with them, if they dont bite when you play, give them 1 small piece of chicken, repeat this till your puppy does not bite, and has learned not to, after this, try some obedience skills, like laying down, or sitting! I had a puppy that liked to play bite, too. One day I got tired of it and growled and bit her on the ear just hard enough to make her yip. I figured, well...it's what her mother would have done. It worked! It may work for you, too.
if you do not want your dog to bite then you must treat it with respect. anyway the dog would probably want to bite you if you teased it or hurt it. hope this helped.
It depends on the type of dog. Biting is usually the result of two states of mind in a dog: fear and dominance.
It always helps if you speak to your dog in a calm, assertive voice and always posture yourself in a rigid, assertive manner.
Consult your veterinarian for specific dog handling techniques.

Take your dog to a local dog obedience class, can locate one through your Veterinarian, local animal shelter or a local all breed dog club. You need to be the dominant leader of the pack. Do NOT tolerate biting at all, not even play biting. Take your dog on lots of dailywalks, on lead only, using a 6 foot lead with a choke chain. Measure around your dog's neck and add 2" for the correct length of the choke chain. Correct your dog quickly and firmly if he or she offers to bite. The Dog Obedience class should help greatly too. Make your dog work for everything such as he or she must sit and stay before you put down their food, make sure your dog waits for you to go through the door way or gate first. All these little things make you the boss. Check his ears and make him sit first, check inside of his mouth, do things with him where you are dominant. Daily briskwalks for at least 30-50 minutes are a must! But he must mind at the walk, no charging people or other dogs, must stay at your side even with you.
First buy a muzzle then take him/her to traing classes.
give him treats when he is good
You don't want puppies to bite. That would get it-and you-into a lot of trouble.
Do you mean why does my cockapoo bite me or why do cockapoos bite? If you mean why do cockapoos bite, they don't. They just need extreme bite inhibition as puppies. If they don't receive it, they tend to be more rowdy and harder to train. But you can train them out of it by socilizing them to other dogs and yelling in hiigh pitched voice "Yiep!" every time they bite you.
yes puppies do bite but it is only because they are teething
Yes it will if it is really protective over her puppies!
Puppies like to bite alot becasue they are just starting to grow their teeth, just like babies have teethers to bite when they are growing teeth
these puppies think they are protecting their owner
Usually because your dog is teething.
No, you shouldn't. They will bite your penis off.
Yes they can be , it is actually way better to train them now when they are puppies than when they are dogs .
All puppies bite no matter what the breed, they do not have hands so they use their mouths to explore. It is completely naturally and essential, especially when they are teething. However, any puppy can be trained not to bite it's called 'bite inhibition'
I have the game Nintendogs and I love it! Sorry, they don't have puppies but if you continue to train train your dogs for Agility and stuff like that, you'll get to the point where you just keep winning in competittions and you'll get new puppies at the Kennel!!!
