Bend down and hond your hand out and make little kissing sounds to try to entice the cat to come out (about five feet away; give the poor cats some space!). If that doesn't work, get a treat like a piece of cheese, meat, fish or cat treat and do the same thing, calling them out sweetly. If that doesn't work, make a trail of that treat from the hiding spot of the cat to where you kneel, again calling it. If that doesn't work, keep the area the cat is hiding in calm (quiet, clean, only a few people around) for several days and try a few times each day. To be EXTRA sweet, put out a dish of milk and be away from its hiding spot for at least an hour, or throw it a particularly large hunk of meat or cheese. The cat should eventually trust you and come out.
