How do you get pass the nightmare level on dragon age origins?

1.prepare your nerves

2.pause the game in every battle and do the tactics (prepare the attacks,movement,etc)

3.put any health potions in quick bar,you will need them big time (you may also want to spend your money buying them).

4.Try to do the hard mode first

5.Be carefull with mages!About all of their attack spells do friendly fire (they cause damage to your companions) tip:dont use fireball where are your companions.I would recomand to dont even learn blizzard, tempest or inferno because this spells will do a 100% friendly fire.If you become mage learn from the beginning the healing spells,you will be able to deal with the first enemies using only arcane bolt .I think healer specialization will be great to! (group healing,even reviving fallen companions)

6.When lvl up put points in constitution and reach at least lvl 30 with constitution put points in willpower as well.

7.Press f5 (quick save) :after/before a battle,after lvl up,after defeating a boss,after a quest,when you want to press a button,when you are bored!

8.In battle first kill the mages (they can heal)

9.Attack 1 enemy with two companions, do a 1 vs 1 only if your companion is alot better than the enemy,DONT attack a foe with all companions.

10.Use the tactics its very simple and usefull :

open the tactics and look at the page on the right select what powers your companions will use when you dont play them , then choose the combat style :

Default for the characters you use,agressive for the ones you want to attack,ranged for mages and archers who need to keep distance.
