1. Move the frogs to another location (catch and release method).
2. Eliminate favorable habitats for the frogs.
3. Turn off outdoor lights.
4. Kill all of the bugs that the frogs normally eat.
5. Bring in natural predators.
6. Use a citric acid solution.
7. Repel them with moth ball chemicals.
8. Spray them with bleach (not really humane, but somewhat effective).
9. Repel them with salt or vinegar solutions.
10. Spraying them with caffeine has been used as an effective repellent in some studies.

But seriously, if you can find him just pick him up and take him outside, if you can't, or just don't want to touch him have the whole house sprayed for bugs. The absence of food ( insects ) will force him to leave on his own.
Be sure to seal up any holes after he is gone so he won't come back.

∙ 16y agoThe number of frogs in your pond is directly proportionate to the number of insects. There will only be as many of them that the ponds food source availability can support, without the frogs you might be inundated by nuisance insects or disease carrying mosquitoes.
And that is your answer, eliminate the insects and the frog population will decrease, I would not do it though as they serve an important service for you and the eco system. Of course you could always get some baby gators to eat them all but that sounds like a bigger problem than frogs.
