There are antiviral drugs that will help with these symptoms.
You can't get rid of it. It's a forever disorder caused by the herpes virus. At this point in time, the only solution is medication and abstinance.
There is no know cure for herpes, so there is no way to get rid of it. There are some medications that can get rid of it temporarily but it will always come back.
