Walk south along the FDR Drive to the Williamsburg Bridge. The Williamsburg Bridge is at Delancey Street. Turn right onto Delancey Street North.

Walk west on Delancey Street North until it turns into regular Delancey Street. Keep walking along Delancey Street until you get to Essex Street (about 9 blocks from the point where Delancey Street North becomes regular Delancey Street).

Take the Uptown F train (of the B-D-F-M, the orange line) from Delancey-Essex Street to West 4th Street.

Transfer at West 4th Street to the Uptown C train (of the A-C-E, the blue line) to 155th Street (at St. Nicholas Avenue).

Then walk 1.5 blocks west on 155th Street: St. Nicholas Avenue ---> Amsterdam Avenue ---> Broadway.
