How do I get my parents to like me as much as my younger brother?

That depends on how old your brother's friend is. If you want a guy to like you, then be yourself. Maybe you will have things in common with him. Talk to him :) Understand the type of person he is. Then start to make your way up from there. But whatever you do, here is some advice: Don't tell your brother! He will be very protective over you and tell you to stay away from boys or to find someone your own age. Maybe he will even yell at you, and tell you to leave his friend alone. There are rare cases when the brother will actually encourage something like that. Also, Don't be everywhere your crush is when they are hanging out together. They will both start to catch on to you liking him. Be casual :) Think of some ideas on how to get him alone...

Try to talk to them and try to find out why they don't' particularly like you at the minuet

Write a dairy and pretend that it's a private one and hide it. Write in it your feeling and what you believe your doing wrong. Then "accidently" leave it out for them to find it, when they read it they'll confront you and change there was

As hard as parents try, it's truly impossible to parent 2 children in exactly the same way. For some parents, when techniques are met with resistance from the child, they will withdraw with few other options to try. For them, they really should attempt to bridge the gap, but not all parents are equipped to do that. What I would say you could do is to be the best version of yourself possible. Live your life filled with love and passion and your parents will come around to the great person you are. Don't attempt to compete with your sibling as that may increase the issues with your parents. Instead try to speak openly and honestly about the amount of attention/respect being handed down to each child in the family. Love yourself and others will fall in line.
