press f12 in the start up screen and that will access the boot menu. in the boot menu arrow key down and select your CD drive. enter and your booting to the CD.
hope this helps.
If you have a USB drive and your BIOS supports booting from a USB device then try that.
A CD-ROM drive is not needed to boot the computer. Just put the hard drive first in the boot order in the BIOS.
Because, you didn't choose the CD drive like a bootable, or the CD disk is not bootable.
To reimage your Acer Aspire 9500 laptop to factory settings you will need to insert the first recovery CD and reboot your laptop. If the laptop does not boot from the recovery CD, you may need to edit the boot order in the BIOS when the laptop first starts. Once your machine is booting from the recovery CD it will walk you through the restoration process.
idk try cleaning the disk if not that then somethings wrong w/ ur laptop CD drive
use to boot up the unit from the cd/dvd drive rather than the HD.
With the recovery disks, just insert disk 1 into your drive, boot laptop to CD and your on the way to recovery.
put the CD into your laptop CD drive right click on the CD and setup sharing - share the CD Drive letter allowing everyone to have read access to it.
Assuming your "d drive" is a CD-ROM drive, you can boot from the Windows XP install disk. This disk contains utilities that are very easy to use that will format and prepare the drives for installation of Windows XP. If your computer doesn't boot from the CD, you'll need to go into "setup" (usually by pressing a button when the computer first starts ie "Press DEL to enter Setup"), and find an option that says "Boot Order" or "boot devices". Make sure your CD-Rom is in the list ahead of the hard drive (sometimes listed as HDD or one of the IDE).
It does not have a cd/dvd drive
you are doomed!
If you laptop has a CD drive put the CD in to it and then you would select the photos that you want right click and then click burn to disc. If your laptop doesnt have a CD drive then I suggest that you put it on a flash drive and try it on a computer or laptop that does have a CD drive
