Usually administrative and faculty peers will have interview and review the reports and overall status of colleges/universities. Accrediting agency might also have a team visiting colleges/universities to see if they really are ready to be accredited. After all the evaluation, they will send the final decision to the schools. Once the school is approved, accrediting agency still need to do the follow up review once in a few years to ensure the quality of colleges/universities are good.
