I would use Lexel or Lepage Extreme for that .
glue it with clear epoxy
I used 1/2" double stick tape that is used to apply body side molding. It worked perfect.
Yes! If you have a zipout window. It will require top half open. Then the lower panel removal, re-stapling of the new meterial to the panel. Good luck tight fit.
If you're talking about the rear glass window on a convertible top, try using double-sided sticky tape, the kind auto parts stores sell for installing plastic side molding. It works great, just clean the area well before you apply it.
stormsure adhesives - google it - patch kits and glue with some documentation support - youtube another great resource
Use a spray bottle with some liquid dish washing detergent and water. First pull the Film or plastic part from the glass . then use the soapy water and a razor blade to scrape the glue. Scrape the glue in one single motion from the top of the window to the bottom then start at the top again for the next stroke.
The convertible top, window mechanism (cassette) and more
Dealer or junkyard
Unlatch the latches at the top of the window, then press the convertible top button down. this button is located near the armrest. If this does not work you must aquire a new convertible top motor. from the trunk, remove hyd. fluid from the conv. top pump, operate top by hand. worked for me for years
Power the window all the way down then hold it for five seconds after its completely down. then power the window all the way up and hold it for an additional five seconds. The convertible top should be up during this window 'reset'.
Get a hot glue gun, glue the top, then inject hot glue into the bottom inside seam. That will hold, for awhile anyways.
