Read the instructions that came with the aftermarket alarm and follow them.
Have someone use your key and start it or install an aftermarket remote starter.
The 2000 Acura 3.2 TL has two CV half shafts as its front axles. Aftermarket CV half shafts priced at wholesale are around 45$ each. Labor to install one half shaft for this vehicle should be 1-1.5 hours maximum. Assuming a labor rate of approximately 100$ the estimated total for one CV with parts and labor would be 150-200$.
if you install an after clock alarm it can mess up the whole transmission sytem
Yeah youd have to take it to a shop and get an aftermarket alarm.... but those can be extremely sensitive... if you dont worry about your car being broken into i would just disconnect it. i did it to mine
Try This : Install a bigger, firmer aftermarket anti-roll bar. I have not yet done it to mine (2000) - but I hear of good results.
Acura MDX was created in 2000.
code for radio acura tl 3.2
This problem turned out to be an alarm system that was installed (aftermarket) if you have one of these, check and make sure it is not in a location were it can get wet. This is what happened and shorted it out, causing more problems. If you are about to get an aftermarket alarm system be sure they connect it right, and not just any 12 volt electrical wire. It should be wired strait to the fuse box or battery terminal.
