How do you jailbreak an ipod touch with a firmware of 3.1.3?

Go to the site posted in the Sources and Related Linkssection below.

At the site, scroll down to where it says Download and below that is three buttons:

Windows, Mac OS, Linux

Select what kind of computer you have by clicking on it then download it to your computer.Once you download it, open spirit up, plug in your device, then click jailbreak.

If you go to your Settings app, then click General, then click About, and in Version it says 3.1.3, then you have to downgrade your iPod. Go to felixbruns.de the website and click iPod firmware, then scroll down on the bottom bar to 2G 3.1.2 whether or not your iPod is 2nd or 3rd generation. Download that, and then go to iTunes and on the left-side bar click your iPod touch, then hold shift while clicking Restore. 2G 3.1.2 should appear in a box or go to downloads, and then it will be there. Click OK and it should restore to the jailbreak-able version. Once downgraded, go to blackra1n.com and click the Windows sign if you have Windows. Then click make it ra1n, and then your iPod should be jailbroken!
