the woman could have one of two procedures done: an amniocentesis, or a CVS (chorionic villi sampling). but, most likely neither of these tests would be performed as early into the pregnancy as 4 weeks. amniocentesis is usually performed 15 to 18 weeks into a pregnancy. CVS is usually performed 10 to 12 weeks into a pregnancy. also, both of these procedures are invasive, and very costly. i can't imagine any insurance company paying for either test if it's merely to decide who the biological father is. these procedures are used to determine if the fetus has a terrible disease/disorder, etc.
the best option still is, both health-wise for the baby and mother, and financially, waiting till after birth and having a DNA test done. all it takes to do a DNA test is to swab the inside of the cheek for saliva, and costs very little money compared to other invasive pre-birth procedures.
Do a DNA test.

From my research I haven't found a way to know for certain your baby's blood type before birth. You can however narrow it down some if you know the father's and your blood types you could make a punnet square.

I know of no mammal that dies after birth. It would be against the nature of mammals since they nurse the baby and have to look after it.
