My opinion is you would either have antifreeze in your oil, or oil in your antifreeze or one of the 2 fluids is leaking from the head. I would check to see if its a blown head gasket first, in this case you would get a lot of white smoke pouring out your tail pipe. the proper way to find out if it has a crack would be to bring it in to a machine shop, they have all the equipment to see if it has a crack, or is warped.
blown Head gasket/warped heads/cracked block
Yes, a cracked block.
The oxygen sensors on a 2000 Chevrolet Venture are located on the catalytic convertor. There are 2 of them. One is at the head of the convertor and the other is aft.
If you have coolant coming out of the exhaust. You have either a blown head gasket, a cracked head, or a cracked block. This can totally ruin your motor.
there could be a few things, the thermostat may be stuck shut, the head gasket could be gone , you may have a cracked head, or your water pump is bad or hoses are cracked, i think i got them all but may have missed one, i would start by checking all hoses and radiator for leaks, then test each cylinder for compression, then check the thermostat, and look at the water pump, by checking in these steps will save a lot of money when you do it yourself, and it really saves on doing unnecessary work... replace malfunctioning parts as needed
I am going to guess, the cooling system wont quit bubbling in your Chev Caprice (or similar) ? Usually indicates a blown Head gasket or cracked head.
most likely a blown head gasket, cracked head, or bad intake gasket. with the s series. i would venture to say blown head gasket.
Do you mean oil in the coolant? If so, you have a blown head gasket, cracked head, or both.
If it is motor oil in the anti freeze, then it is either a cracked head, cracked engine block, or a head gasket blown. If it is transmission fluid in your antifreeze, then the radiator is leaking from the transmission cooler ----- although usually that would cause antifreeze to be in your transmission fluid.
two things you cracked head or headgasket went bad
a cracked head
Most likely causes are a failed headgasket or cracked/warped head.
