If your Bible is not the King James Bible, or has more than 66 books, it is likely to be a Catholic Bible. The Catholics have more books in their Bible, which are of questionable origin to Protestants. These extra books are called Deuterocanonical by Catholics and Apocrypha by Protestants.

Catholic AnswerCheck inside the cover, on the title page, or on the back of the title page, if your Bible has a Imprimatur and a Nilhil Obstat, then you may rest assured that you have the complete Bible without any of the unauthorized subtractions, mistranslations, or heretical notes used in protestant Bibles

Tobias, Judith, Wisdom, Ecclesiasticus, Baruch, 1 and 2 Machabees, verse 4 of Chapter 10 to the end of Esther, and Daniel, verse 24 of Chapter 3 to verse 3 of Chapter 4 and Chapters 13 and 14.

Modern Catholic Dictionary by John A. Hardon, S.J. Doubleday & Co., Inc. Garden City, NY 1980

Imprimatur

. The Latin term for "let it be printed," which signifies the approval by a bishop of a religion work for publication. Authors are at liberty to obtain the imprimatur either from the bishop where they reside, or where the book is to be published, or where it is printed. Generally the imprimatur, along with the bishop's name and date of approval, is to be shown in the publication. According to a decree of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (1975), "the Pastors of the Church have the duty and the right to be vigilant lest the faith and morals of the faithful be harmed by writings; and consequently even to demand that the publication of writings concerning the faith and morals should be submitted to the Church's approval, and also to condemn books and writings that attack faith or morals." (Etym. Latin imprimere, to impress, stamp imprint.)

What Scriptures did the Catholic Church change in the Bible?

Roman Catholic AnswerYou are operating with a mistaken assumption. The Catholic Church wrote the Bible, the Catholic Church decided which books were canonical (included in the Bible), and the Catholic Church has conserved the Bible through the centuries. The only ones who changed any Scriptures in the Bible are the protestants, who, after fifteen centuries of a Bible preserved by the Catholic Church came along and threw books out of the Bible, and changed the meanings of books they would not throw out.
