It's pretty obvious, she will blow up like a balloon. She will then give birth to anywhere from a dozen to several dozen fry, although you may end up not seeing any of them. Mollies will eat their fry, and if your aquarium has other species of fish, they may eat them too. Some may survive, and some may even survive to adulthood if given enough hiding places.
Look at the stomache of the molly. If it is fat and has a black spot in the middle, it is pregnant. Quickly take her out of the community tank and put her in an isolated tank with a few plants. Once she has popped the babies out, put them into another isolated tank. Feed them molly fry food that is really small.
The females belly will grow in roundness and width, in about 28 days she should drop her fry. Sometime you can view your fish from above the water to get a better idea which females are pregnant, you will notice a definite change in their width.

Their tummy gets larger. If a female molly is mature and has been in a tank with a mature male for more than a day or so she will be gravid (pregnant) anyway.
Also, they get a black spot on them
You can know if your Balloon Molly is pregnant by obseving near the back of the Molly's stomach. If it's pregnant, the bottom and back of the stomach should form an approximate 90 degree angle. You will also need to observe the stomach before it is assumed pregnant, in case if the molly has been like that.
She will be quite bloated in the belly area.
The stomach extends quite a bit and often you can actually see a tiny baby molly inside. It is quite obvious when a molly is pregnant once you know just what you are looking for.
the fatter it gets the closer you are to pregnancy

When I got my guinea pig, we didn't know she was pregnant, so about a month later, my sister got one that wasn't pregnant. It was a little less that a month after that that my guinea pig had 2 babies. During that time, though, Molly, the pregnant guinea pig, was acting very territorial, and Milly, the non pregnant guinea pig, was staying by herself and not having anything to do with Molly. So make sure that if you put a pregnant guinea pig with a non pregnant guinea pig, that the non pregnant guinea pig is a girl, or else there WILL be trouble.
