I"m not sure but maybe aloe vera. well I think calomine lotion does it, my mum told me that and use to put it on my sunburn when it was red! except the only problem is that it leaves pinky white spots of where u put the lotion, so best would b to put this on at night or when your by yourself if you don't want any 1 to see!
Use Aloe Vera, it Is a jelly like substance and just rub it in the burned area and it will relieve the pain and allow the redness to go away. I keep an Alie Vera plant in my garden for medical reasons, however if you don't, you can find them at parks or buy it at the a store. It helps a lot, I know because I burnt my face with curlers and it healed very quickly.

I recommend that you buy aloe vera products and constantly apply it too your skin because the reason your skin is red is because your skin is literally burning!! Once you skin has cooled down then the redness should go away. Also I recommend that you moisturise once or twice a day because that will hopefully ensure that you will have a brown tan. I got severely sunburnt on holiday 4 months ago and the redness went down after a week or more. Even 4 months on I still have a brown tan! :D Good luck with the wedding.
