first you must go to Forums action replay cheats and on the first page on that website its says that very code, and to prove it works I used a normal Pokemon ball to catch a shiny lv. 80 arceus.

∙ 12y agoWhen you get the pokemon in the ball, you'll see it flash white once. At that exact moment, hold in the A button. Keep it held in until the pokemon is caught. If you don't do it at that exact moment, it won't work!

No, it does not go away. It only has the Pokeball there to say that you have the Pokedex entry for it. So if the Pokemon evolves, the little Pokeball will not go away.

Unfortunately the Action Replay codes do not work for Platinum, but if you level up/catch rare Pokemon on Diamond/Pearl and trade them over (holding an item e.g. masterball) then it'll be like a little cheat device. This is how I intend to get Manaphy.
