Mix corn syrup, red and green dye, and water ---- Or, if you want to make it safe to have on your body or in your mouth, try one of these following methods. You can make it some of these ways depending on the type of blood you need, use amounts/proportions according to eye:
Fresh or spurting blood from arteries or flowing from capillaries (like when you cut your finger) is bright red because it has its hemoglobin carrying lots of oxygen in it and that makes it more red. Make it by mixing red food coloring in white (clear) corn syrup.
Old pooled blood gets thicker and darker. Make it by mixing the red food coloring in the corn syrup and then add chocolate syrup.
Older blood that is spattered or not pooled is a little thinner than pooled and thickened blood, so make that mixture as above with the chocolate syrup and then add a little water to thin it.
Fresh flowing blood from veins has less oxygen than arterial blood and it is also carrying some wastes from the body's cells that make it darker. But, it is not blue like is often incorrectly indicated, even sometimes in school. Make it like the pooled blood with food coloring, corn syrup, chocolate syrup and then add honey. So what you'll have in your mouth is corn syrup, honey, food coloring and chocolate syrup.
To make alien blood that is green or blue, just substitute the green or blue food colorings for the red.
Many movie special effects use corn syrup dyed red. It has a similar consistency and stickyness to real blood. Be aware though, that whatever colorant you use to dye the corn syrup (red food coloring, for instance) will very likely permanently stain clothing. It may stain your skin for a short time as well.
There are prbably thousands of different ways of making fake blood, but I personally use tree sap, heated in an oil burner then mixed with pine oil. It works well for me, and does not include Karo Syrup- or anything else I didn't find in my back yard.
I don't know how you make it with ketchup and water, but i know an even simpler way!
!) Equipment:
Golden Syrup, Wallpaper Paste, red dye, bowls (2)
First mix some wallpaper paste together and add red dye, that makes clotted dry blood
now, to make fresh runny blood, get golden syrup and red dye to that, and that makes that!
they mostly use ketchop with some water
Commercially available fake blood makeup can be made from a variety of ingredients, but usually includes a syrup or gel base, a thickener, and coloring. You can make your own fake blood at home with 1/2 cup of corn syrup, 1.5 T of water, 1 T of red food coloring, and a splash of yellow food coloring.
It makes fake blood (:
I think it's fake blood I think they got water and red paint idk really that's my guess
syrup, kool aid, food color, ketchup, red paint
In "Psycho" Alfred Hitchock felt traditional fake blood looked gray on black and white film stock, so he used Chocolate Syrup instead.
you can make fake blood from corn syrup, red dye and a few other things mixed together. i would recommend using face paint to draw a cut then put the fake blood mix over it. it should look pretty real
No. There is no fake blood that does not stain because all fake blood usually has food coloring in it and food coloring stains anything and everything.
Unless it's a all natural product without corn syrup, artificial color and fake flavor then the answer is yes they are bad for you.
They put a special kind of make up on the wrestlers so it looks like the have real blood no its fake blood ---- To make your own fake blood, here are some other methods depending on the type of blood you need (use amounts/proportions according to eye): Fresh or spurting blood from arteries or flowing from capillaries (like when you cut your finger) is bright red because it has its hemoglobin carrying lots of oxygen in it and that makes it more red. It is darker red but it is a "cooler" shade of red, and that can be made using some blue in the mix. Make it like the pooled blood with food coloring, corn syrup, chocolate syrup and then a small amount of liquid detergent (like dish washing liquid) that is a blue color just to get a glossy darker dirty red. But, when you add the detergent, you can't use it for blood to come out of your mouth, so instead of the detergent, when you want to have the blood come from your mouth or be on your face, use honey. So what you'll have in your mouth is corn syrup, honey, food coloring and chocolate syrup. To make alien blood that is green or blue, just substitute the green or blue food colorings for the red.
