To make Kraft Macaroni and Cheese you boil the water. When it's boiled you pour the box of Macaroni into the pot. Then stir occasionally. In about 8-9 minutes pour it into a colinder. Then put it into a pot or a container and put the cheese sauce mix into it with butter and milk. Then stir. Then ENJOY !
Here's how I make homemade macaroni & cheese:
1. Boil your macaroni noodles. Set them aside in a casserole dish.
2. Grate 8 oz. of cheddar cheese. Set aside.
3. Make your cheese sauce:
# Melt about 1/4 cup of butter or margarine in a saucepan.
# Add about 1/4 cup of all purpose flour to the melted butter. Mix well.
# Slowly add milk, about 1/4 cup at a time, stirring in between. Continue adding milk until your sauce is rich and thick, yet still a bit liquidy (kind of like pancake batter).
# Slowly add your grated cheese, stirring constantly until you have a thick cheese sauce. 4. Pour the cheese sauce all over the cooked macaroni. Stir in well.
5. Bake at 350 F for about 30 minutes (or until bubbly and golden brown).
Ingredients 8 ounces uncooked elbow macaroni 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 3 cups milk 1/4 cup butter 2 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons butter 1/2 cup bread crumbs 1 pinch paprika Directions Cook macaroni according to the package directions. Drain. In a saucepan, melt butter or margarine over medium heat. Stir in enough flour to make a roux. Add milk to roux slowly, stirring constantly. Stir in cheeses, and cook over low heat until cheese is melted and the sauce is a little thick. Put macaroni in large casserole dish, and pour sauce over macaroni. Stir well. Melt butter or margarine in a skillet over medium heat. Add breadcrumbs and brown. Spread over the macaroni and cheese to cover. Sprinkle with a little paprika. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Serve.
There are hundreds of versions of Mac and Cheese. The easiest way to make it at home is to use a cheese product like Velveeta that melts very easily. Boil you macaroni and drain it. Put it back in the pot and add cubes of Velveeta and a few tablespoons of butter along with about 1/2 cup of milk. Heat this mixture stirring so you melt the cheese. You can add more cheese or more milk as you like to make it cheesier or more liquid.
I like mine really soupy fyi. So you boil the pasta according to the package. Meanwhile, melt some velveeta, milk, and a tiny bit of butter in the microwave or over a stove. Make however much you want and however soupy you want it. Then just pour it over the pasta and eat it.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large pot of boiling, salted water cook the pasta to al dente.
While the pasta is cooking, in a separate pot, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and mustard and keep it moving for about five minutes. Make sure it's free of lumps. Stir in the milk, onion, bay leaf, and paprika. Simmer for ten minutes and remove the bay leaf.
Temper in the egg. Stir in 3/4 of the cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Fold the macaroni into the mix and pour into a 2-quart casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese.
Melt the butter in a saute pan and toss the bread crumbs to coat. Top the macaroni with the bread crumbs. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and rest for five minutes before serving.

Then add 1 bag of cheddar cheese and stir into mixture. Stir occasionally to ensure the cheese doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. Season with salt and pepper and stir in. This process takes approx 10-12 minutes.

4) Pour noodles into a 9x13 glass baking pan. (Optional line pan with aluminum foil)
