If your quickly getting ready to go somewhere you can take a hairbrush or comb and brush your hair away from the scalp. Then while hair is lifted from the scalp, get hairspray and spray a thin layer on that section of your hair.

Different conditioners can definitely make a difference. Try Aussie, or any other product that says it makes your hair thicker.
Another thing is vitamins, and proteins. Zink is very good for your hair, and nails. Try a vitamin with this in it.
