If you want to merget the subtitle to the movie, try total video converter which has a filter for subutitle.
download vlc media player open it (the player not the file) select file open file(not quick open file) in the file tab for it will be as the following
Open: Browse
use a subtitles file: Check the box Advanced Settings:
File : Browse
first select browse on the first line and choose your media file
then check the box in the second line and choose your subtitle file.
but after you close the player and open the media file again you have to repeat the steps

∙ 12y agoFirst of all you have to check the frame rate of movie by selecting particular movie file and press (ALT+ENTER) now from property >> select "Detail" in video category in last you will be able to see frame rate something like 23 frames/sec.
Now you got the Frame rate.
search in Google for subtitle for that movie.You must preferred the website "subscene.com" now open English subtitle in many tabs and download the subtitle having frame rate same as given in movie file by looking in details of subtitle file opened in different tabs.
For many movies frame rate is not given but he can do it on hit and trial basis.Just download 4 to 5 files extract them and copy their name from subtitle file as it is and rename the movie file and open in vlc or km player (Press ALT+X to show subtitle in km player).I am quite sure you will get your problem solved.
