this ones not really hard but it's not easy by any means what you have to do is get in through the headlight and take off the grill if possible if you can't do that you have to get a tool that fits the bolt between the grill and the hood, Take the bolts that hold the latch on completely off and from there you should be able to get the hood open, take the latch apart by hand and reinstall on the hood, replace the cable make sure it works the pieces before closing the hood and you should be good to go be careful and good luck

∙ 14y agoDepends on where it broke. Inside, you can get to the cable and pull the end with pliers. Half way, you should be able to reach the cable on the front of the radiator support, cut it and pull the cable. If the end at the latch broke, can you get the grill off and then take the latch loose or possible reach through with an extention and take the bolt out holding the latch.
